Step 1: Cleaning Up Spills
One of the important cleaning practices you can do with household items is to clean spills. As you know, spills of different oils, liquid, and even water are the kind of spots that get more stubborn over time.
So, we prefer taking care of the spills right after they are on the floor. It might be the orange juice, or the oil, get into immediate action. And remember the list of household products that we have stated above. For different kinds of spills, you might be in need of different products from the list.
Step 2: Take Care of Your Floor Every Day
At the previous step, we had told you to clean your vinyl floor every day. Now, if you want to take this one step forward, there can be more to do. And that is through cleaning it with vinegar solution every day.
As a matter of fact, vinegar is a completely harmless substance that does nothing but assisting in cleaning the specks of dirt and looking at the floor fresh and shiny.
To make a vinegar-water mix to clean your vinyl floor, you need to take one cup of apple cider vinegar and mix it with a gallon of warm water. Now, continue to wipe your floor with the solution until you are done with the whole floor.
Phase 3- Cleaning with Commercial Cleaner
The next step for cleaning the vinyl floor is the hardest one. In terms of specks of dirt that you have to deal with, is also the hardest one to fight. So, we might have to call the commercial cleaners on duty.
Step 1: Pick up the right commercial cleaner
The first duty is to choose the right commercial cleaner for the job. While selecting, keep these two points in your mind-
- Don’t take any wax-based cleaner to deal with.
- Don’t choose too abrasive cleaners that are hard for your hands.
Step 2: Make the mix and clean
This is the most critical step of doing a deep cleaning with a commercial grade vinyl floor cleaner. For deep cleaning, you might go for a deep soap to do.
However, take a few tablespoons of the cleaner, and mix it with the right amount of water. You can follow the instruction that goes on with the label of the product.
Once done, take your mop for vinyl floor and inject the solution into the mop. If it’s a sprayer type mop, then you have to get the right amount of solution each time you wipe off a dirt spot.
Continue with the process for the entire floor, and wipe off the floor once again with a mix of warm water and vinegar.
